As you or your family member reach an advanced age, you may be wondering, “Where is there an old age home near me?” If so, a nursing home or a care home may be what you are looking for.

Nursing homes and residential care homes are two similar options for individuals seeking care at an advanced age. Both of these types of facilities have a carer employed for every several residents, ensuring that each individual receives all of the care they need. Residential care homes have a staff to resident ratio of around 6 to 1, while nursing homes have a staff to resident ratio of around 4 to 1.

The main difference between nursing homes and residential care homes is the nursing aspect. Nursing homes provide the same services as residential care homes but also provide residents with medical care as needed. At nursing homes, a registered nurse is required to be on the premises 24 hours each day, so residents are never without assistance.

If you are a resident of Warwick, Southam, Leamington Spa, Moreton Morrell, or Stratford and are looking for an old age home near me, Bromson Hill Nursing Home is here for you. Our experienced and friendly staff provide attentive care on any level needed. We also offer respite care for individuals looking for a short-term residential stay.

Please contact us if you have any questions about our services.
